Wend Raabo Kinderleben in Afrika e.V. is a small, informal association based in Bergisch Gladbach, NRW.

The association was founded on 4th August 2007.

The spirit and purpose of the association is delivering development aid in Africa.

Our idea for the Crocodile Logo stems from certain facts about Africa.  In fact, the Burkinabé live in harmony with Nature and the animals, that is, they do not fear "wild" animals.  As you can see, they can even tame the ferocious crocodile. It was the very idea of facing a crocodile that inspired our logo.

As you can see, we still get weak at the knee!
